About The Founder
Didn’t Sell Grandma’s House is founded by Jasmin Jeanette Joseph, a producer, advisor, and strategic storyteller with a background in finance, media, and legacy planning. She’s worked on Wall Street, helped launch a multi-million dollar startup, and cut her teeth in strategic communications across politics and entertainment during the sociopolitical headwinds of the 2020s.
A published writer, award-winning filmmaker, and dutiful eldest daughter, her work at DSGH bridges the technical and the emotional—combining a decade of professional experience with a personal passion for legacy, memory, and meaning. A registered investment adviser holding SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 credentials, she can combine her love of narrative story-telling with the practical tools of financial planning.
DSGH was born from her own experience navigating grief and inheritance, reviving her grandmother’s home not just physically, but spiritually. She saw firsthand what traditional wealth planning leaves behind, and she created this offering to help families preserve the full picture of what they’ve built.
